Who We Are

The New York Texas Exes is a local chapter of the Texas Exes, the alumni association of The University of Texas at Austin. We help carry out the mission of The Texas Exes: To praise, promote, and protect The University of Texas at Austin and its students, and to unite inform, and involve alumni and friends in fellowship and support of education.
 

What We Do
We sponsor social, professional and community service events and programs to foster school spirit and connection amongst Texans in the New York City area. To support The University's recruitment efforts, we provide annual financial awards through the New York Texas Exes Chapter Scholarship Fund to newly admitted UT students from this area.
 

How You Can Get Active

Everyone, regardless of state and school affiliation, is welcome at our events. Most of our events are free. For major events (such as the Texas Chili Cookoff and Texas Alumni Cruise) that require paid admission, we attempt to negotiate group discounts with preferred pricing for Texas Exes members.
