Football Venue
Coordinators Needed!
We need volunteers to
work with the chapter
designated venues. Venue
liaisons serve as
chapter ambassadors to
the venues and Longhorn
fans. Primary
responsibilities include
providing broadcast
information, confirm
specials are available,
greet Longhorn fans and
answer questions about
the chapter. Training
will be provided. Please

Chapter email
announcements are available to Texas Exes
members and UT Austin graduates by registering
with
Texas Exes Online Services. Non-UT Austin
graduates can receive chapter email
announcements by becoming Texas Exes members.
After you have updated your profile, click on
Email Interests and make sure Chapter
Events under Alumni News from the Texas
Exes is checked. Everyone, regardless of
college affiliation, is welcome to join the
Texas Exes. UT Austin graduates are especially
encouraged to stay current with their Texas Exes
memberships. To learn more, visit the
Texas Exes Membership page.
Texas Exes members receive
discounted admission to major
events such
as the Texas Chili Cookoff and Texas Alumni
Cruise. They also support our services and the
New York
Texas Exes Chapter Scholarship Fund. Through
the Fund, we have provided over $1,000 annually
to newly admitted UT students from the New York
City area for over ten years. |

We are always
looking for volunteers to assist us with our
events and services. Most activities only
require a few hours of your time a month. You
can help in these areas:
* Plan events and
negotiate with venues and vendors
* Greet and provide
information to attendees at events
* Respond to email
and voicemail requests
